Entrance Fee
Required once at time of matriculation. Graduates of our undergraduate program are not required to pay the entrance fee.
 
Base Tuition Fee
Required for the university to maintain and operate high educational standards.
 
Course Fee
A total of 30 credits are required for graduation, for which the course fee is billed 4 times in total over the course of 2 years. Each credit will cost 20,000JPY, although students are exempted from paying the course fees for credits taken which exceed the required 30 credits.
 
Building & Maintenance Fee
 Required for the university to maintain and management the conditions of the campus facilities.

  • In addition to the above, an Alumni Association Fee of 30,000JPY(graduates of the undergraduate programs are exempted) and a University Health Insurance Mutual Fee of 1,750JPY(once at matriculation) is required.

Those who will repeat a year due to failure of course requirements will only be responsible for half the base tuition fee and building & maintenance fees for the year they repeat. However, should a student fail to meet the graduation requirements after his/her first repeated year, the regular fee amount will be applied from the second repeated year.

Q1. When will the tuition bills and remittance forms be sent? Spring Semester: Late March
Fall Semester: Late August
Q2. When are the tuition payments due? Spring Semester: April 20
Fall Semester: September 30
*Should the bank be closed on the above days, the following business day shall be the due dates.
Q3. What if I miss the tuition payment due date? Please contact the General Affairs Office as soon as possible. Should the payment be delayed for over 2 months, please note that your enrollment may be terminated as per the University Code of Conduct (excerpted below).

[Dismissals]
Article 32: Upon internal deliberation, students will be dismissed from the university in the following cases:
(1) If a student’s period of enrollment at the university exceeds the maximum limit.
(2) If a student does not notify the university of resuming her/his studies after the period of leave-of-absence as per Article 25, no. 2.
(3) If a student does not comply with the tuition payment deadline and is late by more than two months.
(4) If a student has either passed away, or cannot be reached for over two years.
2 Transferring to another school or withdrawing from the program shall result in the loss of student status at the university as defined in Article 23, no.1.

Q4. Do you accept tuition payments through ATM transfer or internet banking? Please ask the General Affairs Division to have it re-issued, or use the payment slip available at the bank. But please mind the following:

Q6. Can I have the payment spli sent to a different address? If you wish to change the mailing address due to the change in your guarantor, please go to the Student Life Office for a “Notice of Change in Guarantor” form, and submit it with the new address.
If you only want to change the mailing address, please go to the General Affairs Division for a “Notice of Change in Tuition Payer” form.
Q7. Do you accept installment payments or postponement of payments? Please speak to the person(s) in charge of tuitions in the General Affairs Office.

Q9. Regarding Tuition fee and Certificate Proving Tuition Payment. If you are applying for Student Loans, the above forms and certificates will be needed. Please go to the General Affairs Office for more information

Q11. How is the tuition calculated if I take a leave-of-absence? You will be exempted from half the tuition fee and building maintenance fee during your leave-of-absence. Tuition fees for repeated courses (previously failed courses) will be refunded monthly from the commencement of your leave-of-absence. Please speak to the person(s) in charge of tuitions in the General Affairs Office. If you are thinking of taking a leave-of-absence, please speak to the Students Support Division beforehand.
